I got into being an EMT several years ago as a way to enhance skills for tough times. I am no what they called a "compensated volunteer". So I get free training and access to gear plus about 100 buck a week. The extra money finances projects around the house. Plus, if THSHTF, I can better care for my family.

How can we feed the world?
How can we create conditions to enable every community to feed itself?

Socrates did nothing more than encourage people to think. For this, they killed him.
