If you are on feedburner you should be ok!  I am not the person to ask.  I struggle with all this stuff!  Cheesy

I'll probably leave it alone for now, as I've got bigger fish to fry for now after moving my blog onto my server. Did I ever mention that I don't love techie stuff? Lol

Oh yeah right---what are you on 20-something? No chance of me passing you by any stretch!

But seriously, thanksnso much for your encouragement. It means a lot. Smiley

I got this all worked out. Surprisingly, iTunes deleted the podbean feed rather quickly and I was able to re-do the whole thing with feedburner. Can you believe it but now I would like to just use a plug in on my wordpress site to run the feed through and not iTunes. Anyone know how to change the feed addy in iTunes? LOL

How is this working? I'm really interested to know because sometimes when dogs hang out for a long time in the yard, wherever they spend the most time gets infested, and I'd love to know what to do. I have a bag of DE, which I occasionally dust their yard with (but haven't for a while so I'd better get to it), but I didn't know about pine sol.

Aw, thanks! I'm hoping to get my second installment up very soon! Hopefully by the weekend, if I can get some time for editing. Thanks for subscribing, Ggirl!

Hmm. Are they stored on the site itself or elsewhere?

Aw so sorry, that's tough. My heart gets so wrapped up in my little creatures, I couldn't imagine how hurt I'd feel over all that. Yay for the milk, and I totally get where you are coming from not wanting to think of how y'all got there. Hope this week is better for you, your wife, and your goat.

I post mine on feedburner, 1 time in itunes then it always picks up.  I also submitted to zune, stitcher and whoever else I heard of 1 time.  Then it picks up.  There are lots of free podcasts that helped me.  www.schoolofpodcasting.com  He also has a great program for getting started - wish I knew when I started. And theaudacitytopodcast.com is very helpful.  It is all so confusing, but once you get that first one up it goes automatically.  I just post it on my site and it picks up on feedburner, itunes, stitcher zune...  I hope this helps....

It does. I really wish I would have NOT started with Podbean. I considered just paying for the year, but when I realized I could host it myself, I figured I'd better. LOL

I'll check out the links and do some searches to see if I can learn some stuff. Thanks, Ggirl!

Hi guys. I recently started my own podcast, which I was hosting on Podbean (free account) until this morning. The reason I switched was because it *just* occurred to me yesterday that I had already paid for webhosting service, and why wasn't I hosting my podcast on my own server space? I got it all set up and I have a Wordpress site set up for the podcast at themindtohomestead.com.

Before I figured out that I could host my podcast on my own server space, I submitted my podcast to iTunes. It was accepted and published to iTunes yesterday, but the feed was coming from Podbean. This morning, I looked into how to fix the RSS feed, but because I couldn't find my way into any html for Podbean to set up redirects, I just deleted my podbean account.

Currently, I've put in a request to iTunes to delete my podcast, but I'm not sure they will--the message was basically "We got your request, so do this (which was to block iTunes, which I can't do because I can't get into any html for Podbean, and besides that account is gone now).

SO....I wanted to try to resubmit the podcast to iTunes with the new RSS feed, but I have NO idea where to find one. Well, let me take that back---I did find one in the podcast plug-in, but iTunes is having trouble reading it. Does anyone have any experience with this at all, and can you advise me on what to do next? I can just leave it off iTunes, but I almost feel like that would be a mistake.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!
