Really cool way to shuck corn and have no silk on it.
Personally like to just barely warm mine up in water, but think I'll try this next time.

What I want to know, is where were you two hours before you posted this? That's about the time that I was shucking corn for us and some guests. I really could've used this then...  Lips sealed

I am going to try it in the next day or two! Thanks for the tip!

That's great.  I wonder if it would work just steaming it. then doing this?  We stam ours in the husk then peel and it is easier.  I never thought about shaking it out!
