I don't really remember how long it took. I seem to think it was at least a month, but I could be way off.
Ok then if it's a lot like kombucha, there's a good chance it will take---yeah---about a month at warmish temperatures. That's how long it takes for me to get kombucha vinegar in the summer.
So can I use a kombucha mother?
