I found this book @ our local library.  Great info on wild edibles in the upper midwest.  It's currently in my amazon cart, waiting for it to go down in price.  Cheesy

Looks pretty cool! I only wish I lived in an area that had more of a selection, when it comes to wild edibles. Since our area is pretty much developed farmland, there isn't much that hasn't been uprooted by a plow or escapes the wild animals (or domesticated animals, for that matter...lol).

But, it would certainly be useful for other areas.

I have that book, and it is good, but it is primarily a recipe orientated book although the pictures are top-notch. I have a lot of foraging books having started with Euell Gibbons long ago, and my favorites now are by Samuel Thayer because he has an approach that walks you into foraging in a very doable way, and he does plants that are native to my state, Wisconsin.
