I was saddened by the news that a fellow SSHomesteader was going to quit spending time here. 

There have been many folks that I have come to truly love and so enjoy their wit and...well, I continue to mourn the loss of June...to just name one.

so...I'm gonna just go be sad now while I make a new chicken drinker.

On Thursday January 24, 2013, my 13 year old son uttered the words I have been waiting to hear for at least 11 years now...those words? "Please don't embarrass me here!"...BwaaAHHhhhHaHaHaHaaa ahhhhhhhhhh, revenge will be sweet! :}

Sometimes people need to step away, just like in real life our friendships change over time.  I don't like seeing various members leave.  I think all of us have something to contribute here.

I sure will miss him, he added a lot of great info and was a fun guy Huh
But we will go on, we have critters to feed, crops to plant and chores to attend to.

Seasons. We all go through them.

I always just hope that folks (like Jakematic) who come upon a season where they need to be elsewhere might come back when the seasons turn again.
