Last years flood

I like water for the garden but this was ridiculous!

So far this year is much more normal than last

Just got two inches in the last 3 days, nice steady rain.  Not the downpour from last year.  I really don't want to clean up the debris again.  One funny thing though, I got a boat hook and stood on the bridge as the water was rising and it was like a shooting gallery and a yardsale at the same time.  Picked up a couple coolers, a milk can, a kerosene can and some other odds and ends, you just had to be quick!

It's so dry here the road blows up dust storms when I drive out.  I have to turn off the air to keep from getting it in the truck.  Everything is covered in red dust.  We need rain really bad!
