I've been trying to upload a picture for an avatar the last couple of days. Everything goes good until I select "Update Profile", then I get "No file selected". What am I doing wrong? Any ideas?

How big is the picture? I mean in pixels, like 640x320 and size, like 3 megabytes. That would be a big help.

I don't know. The pic I want to use works on all the other forms, including TSP.

It's a JPEG 72.6 KB. BTW, it doesn't seem to matter what the pic is, I can't get any to post correctly.

Yeah, that size shouldn't be a problem. Give me a little while. It's been so long since I put my picture up, I don't really remember the steps. I'll see what I can do.

The picture is on your desktop or in your local files folder right?
Just making sure it's not something from another site or network drive.

Try this and see if it works. Get the URL from your picture on TSP ( go to the picture, right click, depending on the browser it will say something about copy image location or something like that ) go back to the profile settings under forum profile information, check the "I have my own pic" , paste the URL in there and hit change profile at the bottom. See what happens

I fixed it  I picked an image and cropped it to make it square, then resized it to be 100 x 100 pixels and it worked. If you send me the real image you want, I can put it up for you  |
