Taking advantage of rainchecks

We like to take full advantage of loss-leader sale rainchecks whenever possible. If we go to buy the max of an item that's on sale, we'll make as many visits as possible during the week.
If they run out of product we'll make extra trips to get as many rainchecks as possible. These are essentially a free option on a sales price.
Some rainchecks don't expire (CVS, as an example), others expire in 90 days (like Menards).
This saves the cash. We'll do this for everyday items like kitty litter, kleenex, etc.

That is a most excelent idea. I get rain check, but only when they don't have the one item I was wanting. This extends the sale. Cool idea
