Things reverted kinda back to normal, as far as the solar cycle anyway, at least here.
I am afraid that it will be a normal September and we may see few hurricanes, but who knows where the low pressure will lead them. Lets just pray it will lead them away...

When I was working on boats and living in Galveston, my plan was to buy a sailboat to live on and berth it over in Seabrook or Kemah. Rita put that thought out of my mind forever. I just couldn't bear the thought that I would probably be at work while my home was being smashed.

Prayers said that y'all don't have to deal with any hurricanes, Johnny...

We had 3/4" of rain,  the bad. We had a lot of wind, blew over the corn and tomatoes. I haven't been out and checked the other garden area, just what I can see out back. And more rain is expected over the next couple days, just don't need the wind.
