LOL, I love my yorkie, but she loves to yap.  I bought this little bark off thing from Wally world and it works great.  I just turn it on for a minute when she starts that yapping.  She jumps on my lap and shakes all over.  Hee hee. One of the best investments in a while Hee Hee!!!  Wink

I'd like to try one of those things for a couple of our dogs.

It would probably be less traumatic than putting the offender in a small pen with our Livestock Guardian Dog, Grumpy Uncle Obie, who doesn't like loud noises and doesn't like being penned up... and doesn't like small dogs.

For the record, Obie would never hurt them. But, he does teach them that being quiet is "better".

I have an E collar for my Wife, When the Yappin gets loud. I just push a button and she yells for a while, then all is peaceful. Till she regains her senses, then I'm in TROUBLE.  Lips sealed LOL Just don't try it on yourself, make your eyes crossed.  Grin LOLL

I just turn it on for a minute.  Otherwise it terrifies her.  Shocked  The first day i inadvertantly left it on all day while I was at work.  I got home and she was so scared.  I didn't know what was wrong with her.  Then my answering machine went off which apparently triggered it . She jumped on my lap shaking like a leaf.  I felt so bad.. It is good if you just use it for a minute or so.
