Folks - I've been following this pretty close and while I don't usually quote anything from Infowars.com, the following article is something anyone living near the Gulf should understand. It pretty much sums up everything in a nutshell.
http://www.infowars.com/methane-and-martial-law-in-the-gulf-of-mexico/Just try to imagine an evacuation situation 100 times worse than Katrina/Rita. Try to imagine what that will do to the supply chain (food, gas, medicine, etc.). Then try to imagine where all these folks are going to go? My city has a couple thousand homeless and they're a drain on our resources; you can't even take your kid to a park now-a-days.
What the heck is 20 million homeless going to look like?
Quote - "Plans are being put in place for the mandatory evacuation of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Mandeville, Hammond, Houma, Belle Chase, Chalmette, Slidell, Biloxi, Gulfport, Pensacola, Hattiesburg, Mobile, Bay Minette, Fort Walton Beach, Panama City, Crestview, and Pascagoula,” Madsen writes.
Seriously, y'all should have a solid Plan B to bugout at a moment's notice. The only way to survive this is to be ahead of the herd.
