I've been making this bread for years and it's so easy and delicious! Put my bread machine on Craigslist Smiley

I make bread the old fashioned way.    I find that kneading dough is very therapeutic.  A lot kinder than taking out my frustrations on the dog.
I don't think that bread machines save time or work when you consider that you have to clean the darned things.  They are just another way to become a slave to the grid, but that's just me.
I also own a very expensive, top of the line, food processor that I don't use.  Get yourself a sharp knife and a good mandolin and with a little practice you will out process every food processor on the market.  Cost....Minimal.  Storage space....  Minimal.  Electrical use.......Zero.

The Queen is going to use the bread machine to knead the dough and let it rise in it for pizza.
It kneads a keeps it warm so it will rise. Gotta get my $5 worth out of it.  Wink
We Knead to try the no need bread too. Cry

I to like the kneading by hand, i have friends that use the high dollar Zojurushi bread machine (200-250$) but like the bread we make the old way much better (texture and shape mainly). The high dollar machine is an improvement over the standard 5 dollar Goodwill machine though.

If you like no knead bread check out the book Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day.  The bread is awesome. I bought both their books.  you just mix up a wet batter. It's a yeast bread and the gluyten forms from the wetness instead of kneading.  You need to let it sit in the fridge overnight the first time..  Then you just break off a grapefruit size and let it rise and bake it.  The bread comes out awesonme. Like "artisan" bread. They have a website too healthybreadin5.com i think.  Check it out!
